I did a workshop in conjunction with Beyond Retro and Supersweet magazine last saturday of which I was the only student designer, I was accompanied by people from Beyond Retro, Amelias magazine, Supersweet and artisist/illstrators who residence there. After applying through email I attended the workshop last saturday in an artists studio just off Ridley road market, it was a fun atmousphere and a creative/sugar full day. I made one of the beyond retros discards into 'jumping soda jumpsuit' as I used a monotone soda advert of a rose repeated with highlights of the fabric behind to add colour. It has resulted in my work going on display in an exhibition at London's Cheshire street, Beyond retro store, in March, will be aweomsome. Still time to get involved so go for it.
