I've always been interested in Picasso and this term i have taken his notion of being inspired by artworks of the past. Having chosen the christmas project title 'world in a book' and Picasso's vollard suite being my main motivator i have taken many of my favourite paintings, exhibitions and my own artworks and am currently in the process of drawing one long monochrome scroll of illustration in different media, which will be used for textile print. This has bought my attention back to many paintings i love, the futurist movement is still my favourite.
