October plenty with The shakespeare Globe

'Beginning on the Bankside, by Shakespeare's Globe, October Plenty mixes ancient seasonal customs and theatre with contemporary festivity, joining with historic Borough Market, Southwark.'
For this years october plenty my friend Sooze Phillipson was assistant to the director, she asked me and some friends in to help make the giant corn queen; a totem of the festival that parades around south bank, to end at borough market to be dismantled and devowerd through audience participation. We used fruit and vegetables gathered and barterd from borough market. Above are pictures from the day itself and the work that went into the night.
